Hi! My name is Martina. I’m interested in arts & crafts, design, colors, style and everything old! In this blog I’m trying to catch up with my passion since I feel due to all the things constantly happening in life I forgot to dedicate my time to what I love.

About a hundred years ago (at least it feels like that) I studied History of Art. I then worked in publishing for a while and finally allowed myself following my heart and learn how to restore gilded frames and paintings at the renowned London School for Picture and Frame Restoration. After years of strolling around and rummaging through flea markets and junk shops I’ve a reasonable collection of wonderful, peculiar, beautiful and lovable things and I’m still adding! I’ve lived (and collected) in Vienna, Berlin, London, Boston and Munich where I seem to have stranded now.

I’m continuously researching about all the objects I have and come across but often I feel I still don’t know anything about them. So feel free to comment on everything you find interesting or you know more about.
